5. “Plugins and Tools”
5.1 “reCAPTCHA”
We use the online service “reCAPTCHA” on our website. Provider is Google Inc, Mountain View, CA, USA.
The purpose of reCAPTCHA is to check whether the data input on our website (e.g. in a contact form) is made by a person or by an automated program. For this purpose, reCAPTCHA analyzes the behaviour of the website visitor on the basis of various characteristics. This analysis begins automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. For the analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, length of stay of the website visitor on the website or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google. The reCAPTCHA analyses run completely in the background. Website visitors are not informed that an analysis is taking place.
For more information on Google’s privacy policy, see: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de
5.2 “LinkedIn”
On our website components of the LinkedIn Corporation are integrated. LinkedIn is an Internet-based social network that enables users to connect to existing business contacts and to make new business contacts.
LinkedIn is operated by LinkedIn Corporation, Mountain View, CA, USA.
Each of our websites equipped with a LinkedIn component (LinkedIn plug-in) will connect to LinkedIn servers. LinkedIn will be informed that you have visited our site with your IP address. If you click the LinkedIn “Recommend” button and are logged into your LinkedIn account, LinkedIn will be able to associate your visit to our website with you and your user account.
We would like to point out that, as the provider of this website, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by LinkedIn.
Further information on this can be found in LinkedIn’s data protection declaration at: https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy
5.3 “XING” and “XING-Events”
On our website, functions of the service “XING” and “XING Events” are integrated. “XING” is an Internet-based social network. “XING Events” is a component for event marketing, event processing and ticketing. XING SE, Hamburg, Germany, is the operating company of XING and the XING Events website and the responsible body within the meaning of data protection law.
Each time you access one of our pages that contains XING functions, a connection is established to XING servers. To the best of our knowledge, no personal data is stored on these servers. In particular, no IP addresses are stored or the usage behaviour evaluated.
If you are logged in to XING at the same time, XING recognizes which Internet pages you are accessing. This information is collected by XING and assigned to your XING account. If you click on one of the XING buttons integrated into our website, such as the “Share” button, XING assigns this information to your personal XING user account and saves this data.
